Récupérer, recycler, réutiliser, réinventer… FILS DE CRÉA privilégie le réemploi de matériaux de récupération non valorisés par les secteurs industriels et évènementiels. ll ne s’agit pas d’une vision misérabiliste de la démarche artistique, mais d’un manifeste : la matière même avec laquelle travaille le collectif est chargée de sens. Chacun de ses projets, chacune de ses œuvres questionne la logique de notre société productiviste et ses aberrations.
NOTHING IS LOST, EVERYTHING IS CREATED
Reclaiming, recycling, reusing, reinventing… Fils de Créa primarily utilizes scrap materials that are neither exploited by the industry nor by the event management sector. This is not a romantic posture about art, but more of a manifesto : the very material which the collective uses is endowed with meaning. Each project, each work questions the logic of our productivist society and its aberrations.
INVESTIR L'ESPACE PUBLIC
Comme son nom l’indique, FILS DE CRÉA est un laboratoire de création artistique. Il mène une réflexion en phase avec les questionnements du monde contemporain, et plus particulièrement, celui de l’écologie, qui sous-tend l’ensemble de ses œuvres. Réemploi, transformation, faire du beau avec du laid, du neuf avec du vieux, valoriser l’humain à travers des installations implicantes… FILS DE CRÉA investit l’espace de la cité, faisant naître la beauté et la poésie dans les supports les plus inattendus, et nous interpelle avec intelligence, dans un bouillonnement créatif toujours pertinent et élégant. Son ancrage dans la réalité sociale se traduit aussi par ses actions participatives : scénographie d’expositions pédagogiques et installations interactives destinées au grand public ou à des tranches d’âge ciblées, animations, initiations, ateliers.

As the name suggests, Fils de Créa (sons of design/creation), is a laboratory of artistic creation. It is deeply concerned with the issues of the world today, and more particularly the environment, which underlies its whole work. Re-using, transforming, making beautiful with plain, new with old, putting the human dimension first through participative installations…FILS DE CRÉA uses the urban space to generate beauty and poetry through the most unexpected media, and challenge our intelligence in an effervescence of creativity that never fails to be both relevant and elegant. The collective is deeply rooted in social reality and is engaged in numerous actions involving active participation from the public: staging of didactic exhibitions, interactive installations for the public at large or specific age groups, events, initiation courses, workshops…
